Design Manufacturing Fit Out

The Brief

Design, manufacture and install new fitting rooms for the clients concept store in Manchester.

The project had tight timescales and an opportunity to create a unique design from a blank canvas.

The Solution

Through collaboration with the M&S design team and the use of our in house designers, we were able to deliver concepts designs for approval. Once agreed we quickly turned these into ‘virtual reality’ for full sign off from multiple stakeholders within M&S. The VR provided a fully immersive experience which allowed the team to understand the space, customer journey and quality of finishes in the very earlier stages and avoided any requirement for prototypes.

This innovative approach to design saved the client money on prototyping, timescales in bringing the idea to market and reduced their impact on the environment through creating less waste.

Cardinal’s offsite manufacturing facility were able to create the concept fitting rooms to the highest standards of quality before installing them onsite inline with the tight project timescales.
