The Brief

Design and installation of a one of a kind over the lane ball return system.

The system would allow the client to utilise previously unworkable empty spaces. The current restrictions are due to height and weight loadings, predominantly driven by the current ‘hidden’ ball return system, which uses significant overhead and underfloor space to operate.

The Solution

The client identified their site in York as the ideal site for the first system to be installed.

Through a fully collaborative approach with the client a design was created, approved and a prototype developed for testing within the Cardinal factory.

Following a lengthy and robust testing procedure we commenced with the manufacture of a number of the systems that would then be installed into York.

A fantastic project to work so closely with the client to help realise use of space within their estate through innovation and design.
