The Brief

Cardinal Ltd were victims of the December 2015 floods across West Yorkshire.

The main factory in Shipley was completely flooded and under 4 feet of water condemning all machinery and the facility.

A new facility had to be found and fitted out in a fit for purpose manner, quickly, to ensure services to our customers were able to continue without disruption.

The Solution

Once the perfect facility for the new home of Cardinal was found the next task was to ensure it was fit for purpose.

This presented Cardinal with a great opportunity to showcase our abilities and provide a fantastic working environment for our colleagues.

A full design of the overall facility was undertaken which included a distinct focus on the flow of the factory, installation of mezzanine level offices and creating amazing amenity spaces for all colleagues. The works were completed against a tight timeline and budget whilst continuing to deliver existing orders for our clients.

Major structural alterations, striking designs and sustainable technologies were all part of this award winning internal fit-out.
