Design Manufacturing

The Brief

To assist with the design and manufacture of steel framed bathroom pods with our client.

These were to be manufactured within Cardinal’s offsite manufacturing facility.

The Solution

Utilising our in-house design and manufacturing experiences we quickly implemented an industry leading production line and process to start our journey into MMC.

The offsite manufacturing team have delivered contracts of over 30 pods per week including the manufacture of the steel frames required for each pod, through our facility.

The pods are available for use in high and low rise builds such as student accommodation, social housing and private residential schemes.

The bathroom pods come fully finished with tiles in situ, light fittings connected and sanitary ware plumbed in. Each unit undergoes a 52 point quality check which includes electrical certification, and pressure testing of the plumbing elements.
